Port Tawfik Shipyard (PTS) has a unique strategic place at the southern entrance of Suez Canal.
PTS executes repairs and new building of medium and small floating units. And is considered as a distinguished
spot at the entrance of Suez canal giving it a great privilege to attract many transiting ships for repair purposes.
Shipyard Main Facilities:
1. Ship Lift Platform (Syncrolift):
* Up to 2 000 ton lifting capacity, 70 m length and 20 m width, with 425 m ways.
* Five repair areas ( garage ), length 150 m each .
* Furnished with complete transfer system .
2. Glass Reinforced Plastic factory:
* G.R.P Factory for building and repair units up to 40 m length also manufacturing all commercial products
of G.R.P.
* The factory is Equipped with up to date equipment for quality control .
* The factory is Furnished with :
- Fully air conditioned molding area ( 45 x 9 m ) and stores.
- Fully Equipped Outfitting area ( 45 x 9 m ).
* The factory uses the finest and the best quality materials and equipments
